In keeping with the foundation set forth by the sorority’s 22 founders, the Hartsville (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Scholarship Committee offers scholarships to college-bound seniors. We seek four (4) qualified high school seniors within the Darlington County area to award our annual scholarship. The schools we support are Darlington High, Lamar High, Mayo Magnet, and Hartsville high schools.

These scholarships are awarded and judged without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, or disability. ​Applicants must reside in the Hartsville Alumnae Chapter’s service areas of Darlington, Hartsville, and Lamar for consideration. We are committed to providing support and encouragement to those students who choose to pursuit a higher education.
